Pallor:
Note the colour of skin. Normal, pale, flushed. Check for blueness (cyanosis) on nose, lips, extremities/ Feel the temperature of face. Warm, cold, normal.
Response:
Note level of response and alertness to your voice. Pinch the ears and fingertips to test reaction. Can they feel pain, or are they completely unresponsive?.
